All-Threaded Rods
All-threaded rods, also known as threaded rods, are ideal for all general fastening needs, from an anchor bolt to a through bolt and everything in between.
The most common steel grades of threaded rods are:
- A307 Grade A
- ASTM A193 Grade B7
Common grades for stainless steel are:
- 304
- 316
- ASTM A193 Grade B8
- ASTM A193 Grade B8M

Fully Threaded Studs
Similar to threaded rods, fully threaded studs feature threads running the full length of the fastener. They also have no head and often require two nuts. These studs are used in several different industrial applications.
Threaded studs are available in steel, stainless steel, and several ASTM grades. The most common ASTM specifications are:
- A307
- A193
- A320
- A354
At Marshall Sales,. the most common specification is ASTM A193. This covers alloy steel and stainless steel bolting materials intended for use in high-temperature or high-pressure environments. The specification also includes fasteners intended to be used in pressure vessels, valves, flanges, and fittings.
